A serious FiveM RP server built by RPers for RPers
We're focused on RP over everything else. This is reinforced by directly rewarding players for great scenarios and taking a zero-tolerance policy on non-RP, fail-RP, RDM, VDM, and meta-gaming.
With a focus on supporting players bringing their characters to life, we try to minimize grindy repetitive tasks, give characters the tools to connect with each other, and will never implement pay-to-win.
There is no whitelist, no allowlist, and no application process. We want good roleplayers to get into the community with zero barrier to entry, and we stay vigilant for griefers and cheaters.
Players cannot and will never be able to pay real money for an advantage in game. This is a stance we're super firm on. Chimera started because we could only find cash-grab pay-to-win car social club servers, and we'll always stay as far away from that model as possible.
Eventually, if the community wants, we may allow players to pay real money for custom cosmetics, and maybe queue priority. Other than that, you can donate directly to the server's operating costs.
If you really want to support the server, then be active, RP well, and create cool scenarios with other players!
Ultimately Chimera is about the community and what they want. We listen to your feedback and that drives the development direction. We don't make excuses.
Our developers have decades of software engineering and game development experience. From these environments, they've learned to iterate quickly and troubleshoot effectively.
